About Us

Our company’s history dates back to 1879. Despite the many upheavals of history, the long-standing tradition and craftsmanship of barrel making have endured.

Following Ukraine’s declaration of independence, our company was privatised and successfully resumed its operations, embracing technological progress while preserving the knowledge and experience passed down through generations.

Since 1995, we have primarily exported finished oak staves to France. Through numerous tastings, we have been able to identify the regions where the finest oak grows in Ukraine.

Our oak, sourced mainly from Volyn and Bukovyna, is renowned for its vanilla aromas and soft, delicate tannins.

Our technical staff have undergone training in France to acquire the expertise required to produce barrels that meet the demands of modern winemaking.

The first tastings of wines aged in our barrels confirmed our choice of forest regions and helped us refine our barrel toasting methods. These can be adapted to meet the individual requirements of our winemaking clients.

Our cooperage is located in the heart of the Carpathians, an area renowned for its pristine natural environment. We do not use any artificial substances, sealants or adhesives in our production process. Even the water used to test our barrels comes from a natural spring.
